Susan Page has written another good book about finding a significant other to permanently share your life.
Book Review by Jan Wilson If I'm So Wonderful, Why Am I Still Single? Ten Strategies That Will Change Your Love Life Forever by Susan Page |
Susan Page makes a good case for choosing a mate for life by knowing yourself first, then recognizing a potential soulmate with similar standards. |

Susan Page, former director of women's programs at UC Berkeley, leader of singles' workshops, and author of several relationship books, has revised a classic book about finding a significant other to permanently share your life. Basically a book for women, the author presents 10 useful strategies for finding a mate. She draws from case histories of her customers whose experiences are depicted in their own words. |

Page advises singles to first get what they are seeking clear in their own mind, then be persistent in perusing their dreams. My only criticism (except for the title) is that she places too much stress on not settling for anyone who is less than perfect. Good advice; hard to do especially as the available "perfect" pool really does thin out with age. She fills her book with quizzes, journaling opportunities, and life experiences, both successes and failures. An excellent book which has withstood the test of time.
