Singles DFW Earth Singles Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Earth Singles share interests in the environment, conservation, wildlife, ocean life, wilderness, animal welfare, food, nature, recycling, resources, endangered species - any earth-friendly subject! The group has socials, walks, and sometimes combines socials with volunteer work for the environment. The group is non-profit, non-political, and non-commercial. Probably more than any other singles group, this group has a larger group of young singles although all ages are welcome and are in attendance at events. Earth Singles meets for all-you-can-eat buffet from 11:30 am until 2 pm on the first Sunday of each month at Thai Jasmine, 3104 Harwood, southwest corner of Hwy 121 and Harwood, Bedford, for $8. Thai Jasmine is in a free-standing building on south side of Harwood at Hwy 121, backing up to Martin. It is in the shopping center with Tom Thumb on the west side of the center. Other meetings will be socials, walks, or scheduled around volunteer projects. The group participates in "earth-friendly" volunteer events and projects, some outdoors, some involving trips. The group will NOT assist with fund raising or solitary activities such as newsletter editing. At Earth Singles events, you'll enjoy a casual, fun atmosphere with other singles while making a world of difference!! Come have a great time with singles who share your interest in the environment while you actually help planet earth and all of its inhabitants. |
