A sure thing about America, utility bills will continue to go up if we are relying on fossil fuel for those utilities. Yet you can make a proactive change in your life (another one) to lower those utility bills, even when you are renting. It is called caulk. Buy some and use it. If you don't know which kind to buy or where or how to use it, head out to a large home building store and ask a salesperson. You might even surf the internet for hints. The home you remodel will be warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and cheaper to operate. |
