We can think of a few reasons:

1. If the service is a franchise, the cost of the franchise has to be recouped to be a valid investment for the owners. In addition, most franchises expect a fee each time someone joins. And, many franchises have national advertising expenses. Each franchise may be expected to pay their share of advertising. Connections is a local service; no franchise fees to pay, no investment to recoup, no national advertising expenses to pass on to YOU!

2. If telemarketing and/or sales teams are employed, someone gets to pay salaries or commissions. That fee might be passed along to you, too.
.... Not an expense at Connections! So many Connections members come from the referral of a past member that we really don't need a sales force. That expense in not passed to YOU!

3. High overhead, including salaries, office or other operating expenses create expenses that must be passed on to customers. Connections works hard to keep overhead as low as possible. Then we don't have to pass high overhead expenses to YOU! Connections is operated by its owners. We feel this is cost efficient but, more importantly, it provides the most interest in you, our customer.

And we follow the premise that a good matchmaking service must have the same matchmaker throughout the service--a matchmaker who also conducts the interviews.

Think about it: it would be really hard to match someone you don't even know.

We can certainly think of a few reasons:

1. They want you to join on the spot without actually thinking it over!

2. They want you to join without comparing prices or services with other organizations.

3. You are being interviewed by a someone who receives a commission if you join.

One important thing about Connections: You will never have sales pressure at a Connections interview. We only want YOU if you want US.

Why?

Think about this: the person who has been pressured to join a service rarely participates fully in that service. YOU get the best results when we allow people to choose Connections willingly and totally without sales pressure.

We want you to think about your decision and compare us to as many other organizations as you wish before joining.
