 Why Is Finding Love So Difficult Now?

1. As we get older, the pool of single people dwindles. There are more single people in their 20s than in their 30s and more in their 30s than 40s, etc.

2. As the people who most need a relationship or who are most capable of making a relationship work find mates, there are more people left in the singles world who do not feel the need to enter a relationship, fear entering a relationship, are totally unrealistic about life, love and/or relationships, or just can not make a relationship work for them.

3. People get involved in careers, hobbies, or families. They have no time for finding love.

4. The further we get from college, the smaller our circle of acquaintances is. In college you met new people everyday. Not so in the business world--the everyday world of making a living. Less time for meeting people and fewer people to meet means you have fewer choices for love.

5. In college you could pretty much date anyone you wished. Not true in real life. Most of the people you meet are at work but dating at work is often a bad career move.

Get the point?!?  It's not your fault. Life in the real world brings changes and you need to change with life.

A matchmaker was a necessary part of the community in days gone by. A matchmaker has become a necessary part of the community in the world of the 21st century, too!!
